Getting Started

A warm welcome to Earth Star Publishing's Holosync Community! We hope the personal growth information on this site helps you with where you're currently at in your journey. In this section you'll learn how to get started. You'll also find tips to help make the most of your Holosync Community experience!

Members and Guests

Firstly, it's important to know there is a difference between what Members can access and what Guests can access. Members have access to all areas of the site (including Resources, Expert Corner, and the Community Forum). To become a Member, you must register. <HOW TO REGISTER?>

Once you've registered, you'll need to login with your username and password in the Login Form, found in the upper left of the site. If you forget your password, use the 'Forgot Password?' link, and it will be emailed to you. Click the 'Remember me' box to have your computer (only your computer) remember your username and password -- not recommended for shared computers.

Even if you're not a member, though, you can still access some areas of the site -- you can check out the Case Studies, Resources, Blog, Shop and Support/FAQ.

Moving Through the Site

You can also navigate the site with the use of the top menu (see below), which shows the areas of the site you've been through. For example, if you're looking at an article called 'Anxiety Help - Power of Affirmations', you can click and go back to Home, or the Resources or Anxiety sections. This is a speedy way to get where you want to go.

An Overview of the Sections

The Home page is what you'll see when you first arrive at the site (you can always return to it by clicking Home on the Main Menu). The Home page will contain a welcome message from the Earth Star team, as well as various news flashes to keep you up to date.

You can find other Holosync participants' stories and experiences with the program in Holosync Case Studies. The case studies are separated into different themes.

In Resources you'll find a wealth of information (articles, videos and more) to be discovered in various areas, including Depression, Anxiety and Alternative Health -- just click on the green sub-menus in the Main Menu.

Click on Blog to read Alan's postings. He'll be adding new ones regularly, but you can also use the links in this section to look our archive of previous postings too.

The Expert Corner is your very own panel of experts! From time to time, we'll be interviewing select experts on various personal growth and wellbeing topics. Stay tuned, you never know who's going to pop up in this section!

In the Shop, you can easily order deeper levels, headphones and other products.

Support/FAQ contains useful information relating to issues with using the Holosync Program itself. You can ask your own questions here for the Earth Star support team.

The Links section gives you links to other sites and affiliated products that we believe are useful personal growth tools.

And the Community Forum directly connects you with other Holosync users (even specifically ones in your area), where you can talk about your experiences with Holosync, the challenges, the benefits, and even submit your own articles or article ideas! For more information on how to use the Community Forum, see the section below.

If you signed in using your Member username and password, you can Logout in the Main Menu.

How to Use the Community Forum

If you're new to internet forums then it might look a bit complicated at first. But don't worry, you'll soon get the hang of it. All the forum is simply lists of messages organised by topic.

Firstly, we have the main discussion areas. These are Experiences and Benefits (in Main Holosync Discussion), Depression, Anxiety / Panic Attacks, Sleep Problems / Insomnia, Stress and Anger (in Discussions by Challenge), and then Discussions by State / Country. Click on any of these to be taken to a listing of threads (forums contain threads, which are the lists of responses). Then simply choose a thread to read the posts in it (or create a brand new thread). An easy way to navigate through the forums is by using the links at the top of the board.

To actually post a message, click 'Reply'. You'll then be taken to another screen, where you can write your text in a text box. There are also many other options to change the appearance of your text, add smileys and attach files or images. Click 'Preview' to see what your post looks like, and click 'Submit' when you want to post your message. You can also do a 'Quick Reply', where you just write in your text without any other options -- too easy!

In your posts you can also 'Quote' another post in your post (just continue writing your message in the text box after the quote code that's been put in there). And after you've posted, you can go back and 'Edit' your post.

Note that you can also adjust your forum profile by clicking on 'My Profile'. Here you can adjust your preferences for viewing posts, create a signature (text or image that appears under all your posts), and choose your avatar (small picture that appears next to your username).

This was a run-through of the basic features. There are more, and feel free to explore them. If you get stuck, please let us know and we'll try to help you out!
