Is your thinking paralysing you?

Posted by: Alan Hewitt in Untagged  on

There's a lot in the media at the moment about the economic changes being experienced around the world.

And it's all too easy to get caught up in the hype and negativity and perhaps even become mentally paralysed by it all.

If that describes how you're feeling, here are some tips to help you overcome it:

1) Realise that the reason you're feeling the way you are is mostly because of your thoughts about the current situation.

You haven't accepted what "is" and it's your resistence to what "is" that is
causing the paralysis / fear.  So accept the situation and confirm that you're OK right now in the present moment.

After all the "now" is the only thing that you ever have to cope with.

2) Your thoughts are projecting one or more future negative scenarios and this is causing the discomfort.  You can't ever know with any accuracy what
will happen in the future so this is pointless.

Sure, you need to plan and take appropriate action NOW to help the future evolve as positively as possible but you don't want to spend your time thinking and worrying about what may or may not happen.

Whenever you realise that your mind is in a future projection, bring your mind gently back to the present moment.

3) Involve yourself in productive activity now.

If you work for someone else, what extra value can you add to the work you
do.

If you work for yourself, what strategies can you implement to improve business? What areas of waste can be reduced?

If you're retired or unwaged, what extra voluntary work can you do?  Focusing on helping those less fortunate will bring back some perspective.

4) What positive, life-enhancing books and other materials can you read and
use right now to improve yourself?

5) Spend some time reflecting on what you can be grateful for right now.

6) What the world needs now is more people who are calm and centred in the
midst of these changes.

So, make sure that you spend your meditations focusing on positive, life-
enhancing outcomes. (See below if you need help with your meditation.)

Just as a final note, I just want to let you know that the majority of people,
myself included, also find times like the current situation challenging.

We all need to realise that just like the weather, there are seasons in most
things in life.  We've had a very long economic Spring and Summer and it
appears that we're in Autumn now.

So, you need to act accordingly.  You might need to "put on a jumper" and
start focus on what the really important things are in your life.

But don't forget that Spring has never failed to appear!

Keep that in mind and be on the lookout for it when the time is right.

Sereni-T Update

Just a quick note to let you know that we're getting very close to be able to offer our new product, Sereni-T, more widely.  It's been a long road with the trial and the whole TGA nine yards but we're confident it will be worth it.

The recent survey in the Sunday Times (WA) on April 20 about health issues was very interesting. You'll see that high stress levels is the top one by far. Depression was also in the top four. Of course, both of these issues are ones that Holosync helps people with.

Update on Sereni-T

Posted by: Alan Hewitt in anxiety on

We have pretty much finshed the trials of our new anti-stress, anti-anxiety nutritional supplement, Sereni-T and I'm happy to report that the results have been mostly very positive indeed.  Here's some typical feedback:

"For the past 10 years starting about February and running through to the end of April I have gone through a terrible depression.  10 years ago my husband

Here at Earth Star we've always been drawn towards helping people who have challenges such as depression, anxiety, stress and sleep problems and it's always very satisfying and gratifying to receive the positive feedback that we do such as that at www.meditate.com.au/members (click on Holosync Case Studies).

Since 1999,

I was watching a DVD of a seminar recently that featured Tony Schwartz, the author of "The Power of Full Engagement" and he told a fascinating story about working with a peak performance expert who was studying tennis players to see what was the difference between the top players and the rest.

This expert was finding it extremely difficult to find the difference because he saw that

Why become wealthy?

Last week, I rang a business friend to let him know that his web site was
down and when he answered the phone I could tell that he was "down" as well.

The reason was that he was going to the funeral of a good friend of his, Matt Price, who was a journalist with "The Australian". (You probably read about it or saw it on the news as he was a very popular

How to Turn Words into Food

Posted by: Alan Hewitt in Giving on

This really is something great.

There's now a free online word game that feeds the world’s hungry in a very innovative way.

Just go right here: www.freerice.com

Play the game (it’s addictive) and for every word you get right, 10 grains of rice are donated to the UN World Food program.

And if that sounds small, yesterday alone a staggering

Hi Alan and team,

Thank you so much for a fun-filled weekend. There were many things that I have taken out of this seminar and this was due primarily to the quality of the speakers that were presenting the information.

It does make a big difference to have speakers that captivate the audience with their charisma and passion and there was definately no shortage of those.
